We had the beef combo, and the food quality was good but unfortunately from the moment we walked through the door the service was lacking, to say the least. We had a reservation, and were excited to try this place based on the high reviews. However, our service was pretty awful. The server was cold, did not explain anything about the dishes, and there is no information on the menu. When we asked, we were met with pointing at the table rather than responses. The most disappointing part was the server not asking what temperature we wanted the meat. The atmosphere, food, and options were great, but due to poor service I wouldn't recommend.

Daebak Korean BBQ delivered an outstanding dining experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and offered a great variety of meats and traditional Korean side dishes. Watching the food being cooked right in front of us made the experience even more enjoyable. The bar had a great selection of drinks, and everything paired perfectly with the meal. The ambiance was warm, energetic, and welcoming—perfect for a family dinner, date night, or gathering with friends. What truly stood out was the great service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and great service. Highly recommend Daebak Korean BBQ, and we’ll definitely be back! 🔥🥩🍻👏

Daebak Korean BBQ had a great experience overall. Service was excellent — they cook the meats and even the soup for you, which made the meal feel really relaxed and enjoyable. The ambience is beautiful and inviting, and the meat quality was genuinely great. We did the Premium combo for 4 people and the portions were solid. Total came out to about $210 with tax and tip, which felt reasonable for the quality and experience. It’s not AYCE, but the combo bundles are usually enough food and give a better curated selection. Giving it 4 stars for now — with a little more variety/options on the menu, it would easily be a 5-star spot.

This was our first time at this restaurant, and overall we had a great experience. One thing to know ahead of time: walk ins are a little complicated. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Saturday, and even though there were no reservation times available on OpenTable for that moment, they still wanted us to make a reservation before seating us. We ended up making one for 8:30pm, but once it was in the system, they sat us right away. My advice is to just make a reservation ahead of time and save yourself the confusion. Once we were seated, our server was very knowledgeable and accommodating about my gluten and dairy allergies. They clearly explained which meats were safe for me and which ones were premarinated in sauces containing gluten, which I really appreciated. We ordered four meats for the two of us, along with the side dishes that come with the combo, and it ended up being the perfect amount of food. The servers were very attentive and cooked everything for us, making sure the meats were done properly. A nice detail was the vent system at the table. Came late on a Saturday night and were surprised it was pretty quiet. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Daebak combo with the gold package. Portions were decent for three people, and for once we didn’t leave KBBQ feeling overly stuffed. The samgyeopsal and chadol were really good, and the kalbi, which I usually don’t order but was included in the combo, was surprisingly delicious. Banchan selection was decent, though the kimchi wasn’t good at all. I did appreciate that they serve purple rice. Service was a mixed experience. Our server rushed through cooking all the meat with very little interaction, pushing cooked meat to the side of the grill where some fell onto the tabletop and mixed into the veggies and cheese corn, then adding raw meat that touched the cooked food and vegetables. I would’ve enjoyed the meal more if we were able to cook it ourselves and take our time. The doenjang jjigae included in the gold package was good and generously portioned, but the kimchi jjigae was a bit salty.
